Amy & Marcos - High school sweethearts

This wedding day was particularly special to me as I have known both Amy and Marcos since we were just teenagers in High school. Having been a close friend of theirs through our schooling years and into 'adulthood' together it was special to witness not only their big day but their journey together thus far.

I watched Amy as she meticulously planned this day for a year, and whilst there were hiccups along the way, I have never seen either of them smile brighter, or laugh louder! The biggest success of all was having all of their loved ones in the room together. Amy and Marcos are the type of people who never withhold love from people and genuinely care for each soul. The type of friends that commit themselves to you wholeheartedly and that is because of their love for Jesus. This community which they have sewed became outstandingly obvious at their wedding when each guest just wanted to shower them with kisses and hugs, not to mention absolutely tear up the dance floor!

Their wedding is what I would describe as a 'traditional' style of wedding, and they had perfectly highlighted the beauty in the classics, the elegance in the simple, the fun in the big crowd.

We talked a lot about what they wanted their day to look like, and from the get go they just wanted to be surrounded by the people they loved, and wanted slow moments in-between to ensure they could soak it all in.

This is one of those weddings where photos will never do it justice, you just had to be there.
