Danya & Pete - The One overseas

I met Danya & Pete on Facebook in 2021. I was new to the wedding industry and needed some models to build a portfolio and they wanted to model for me! We took a cheap depot dress down to Manly beach and photographed a fake wedding. Well 2 years later they got engaged for real, and they wanted to get married in Fiji, with 60 of their closest family and friends, on a cruise for 3 days, and they wanted me to photograph it all!

Danya & Pete have always loved traveling, particularly together and they wanted their wedding to be another grand adventure. After a year of intense planning, 60 of their nearest and dearest ( plus me ) jumped aboard a cruise ship and sailed around the island of Fiji for 3 days. Well the thing about the tropics is that the weather really cannot be predicted and the day of the wedding we were surprised with torrential downpour. Whilst at first a bit dreary, Danya, Pete, their Bridal Party and guests all embraced the rain and they got married. Right in the middle of wind and rain, there was still joy, there was still laughter, and there was music.
